Can also add peppers or other veggies to mix. Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef |
15 oz chunky italian-style tomato sauce |
1 cooking spray |
10 oz refrigerated pizza crust dough |
6 oz mozzarella cheese, divided |
1 med pepper |
1 cup vidalia onion (cup+chopped+raw) |
Directions:
1. Cook meat in a medium nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until browned, stirring until it crumbles. 2. Drain, if necessary, and return to skillet. 3. Add tomato sauce, and cook until heated. 4. While meat cooks coat a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish with cooking spray. 5. Unroll pizza crust dough, and press into bottom and halfway up sides of baking dish. 6. Line bottom of pizza crust with 3 slices mozzarella cheese. 7. Top with meat mixture. 8. Bake, uncovered at 425 for 12 minutes. 9. Top with remaining 3 cheese slices, and bake 5 additional minutes or until crust is browned and cheese melts. 10. Cool 5 minutes before serving. |
