Simple brownie recipe that is truly decadent. I got the basic recipe from The Baker's Catalog, which uses one of their products. It's called Double Dutch Dark Cocoa-it's worth the google! Ingredients:
2/3c king arthur double dutch dark cocoa |
1 1/2c granulated sugar |
1/2c confectioner's sugar |
3/4tsp salt |
1c all purpose flour |
1tbl instant espresso powder |
1c pecans, toasted and chopped(optional) |
1c cocoa nibs(optional) |
1c chocolate chips |
3 large eggs |
1/2c vegetable oil |
2tbl brewed coffee |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350f 2. Grease either a 9x9 or 8x8 pan 3. Whisk together dry ingredients. 4. Add wet ingredients, combine until mixed. 5. Bake in oven and test doneness with toothpick, it will still be a little moist when done. 6. Cool 1 hour. |
