Chocoholics unite! This is a no-fail chewy, fudgy, super moist, slightly gooey, brownie-like crowd pleaser! It’s one of those one-mixing-bowl wonders! There’s absolutely minimal prep for such a decadent treat. Read more . I hope you love it. Ingredients:
1 cup chocolate chips, i like to use ghirardelli semi-sweet |
1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped (run your chef’s knife through them or pulse them in your food processor.) |
1 cup granulated sugar |
2 eggs, large |
1/2 cup self-rising flour |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 stick butter, melted |
1 unbaked pillsbury pie shell (yes, use this brand ' it makes a difference |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Combine flour and sugar. 3. Add eggs, one at a time, then vanilla and melted butter. 4. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. 5. Pour into pie shell and bake for 30-40 minutes. 6. Let cool to set. 7. For an extra decadent pleasure, serve warm with French vanilla ice cream. Enjoy! |
