Deb's Cream of Broccoli Soup |

My SIL shared this recipe with me many years ago, I don't know where she got it but it is definitly a keeper. I've made this for friends many times and it's always a hit! Ingredients:
2 (10 ounce) packages frozen chopped broccoli |
1 cup water |
2 cups velveeta cheese, shredded |
1 1/2 cups whole milk |
1 cup half-and-half |
2 chicken bouillon cubes |
1/2 cup flour |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook the broccoli in the water for 5 minutes, DO NOT drain. Add the remaining ingredients and heat until the cheese melts and the soup is hot. DO NOT boil! Stir frequently to prevent the soup from scorching while heating it, the cheese will stick and the soup will be ruined. |
