Rich and tangy with no expense spared - a full pound of butter, and a whole cup of cocoa powder blend with 6 eggs and thick yogurt for this decadent treat. It's a good thing it feeds a crowd! Ingredients:
1 lb butter, softened |
2 cups brown sugar |
6 eggs |
1 cup plain yogurt |
1 tbsp vanilla |
3 1/2 cups flour |
2 tsp baking powder |
1 cup cocoa, sifted |
1 tsp fine salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F, grease a Bundt pan. 2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. 3. Add eggs, one at a time, followed by yogurt and vanilla. 4. Sift together the flour, baking powder, cocoa and salt. 5. Add to the creamed mixture, beating smooth. 6. Bake 1 hour, or until tests done. 7. Cool 30 minutes before unmoulding. |
