I based this recipe on other meatloaf recipes, but it is uniquely mine. I wanted one made with oatmeal and spices that I like. Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds ground beef |
1 egg, slightly beaten |
1 cup rolled oats |
1 small onion, chopped (optional) |
1/2 cup milk |
3 tablespoons mustard |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon salt (optional) |
1 dash ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. Mix ground beef, egg, oats, onion, milk, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper together in a bowl; transfer into a loaf pan. 3. Bake in the preheated oven until no longer pink in the center, 50 to 60 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). |
