Ingredients:
1/3 cup instant tapioca |
3 cups cold water |
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar |
1 cup chopped dates |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
whipped cream |
Directions:
1. Combine tapioca, water, sugar, and dates in a small Dutch oven; stir well. Let stand 5 minutes. 2. Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened. Remove from heat; chill 1 hour. Stir in pecans. Chill until serving time. 3. Spoon into serving dishes, and top with whipped cream. |
