Ingredients:
6 eggs, separated |
1 cup powdered sugar |
1/2 cup walnuts |
1/2 pkg dates, finely cut |
four heaping tablespoons of bread crumbs |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
whipped cream |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300F (149C) 2. Add powdered sugar, walnuts, and dates to egg yolks. 3. Add bread crumbs and baking powder to yolk mixture. 4. Mix well. 5. Stiffly beat egg whites and add to yolk mixture. 6. Bake for 30 minutes. 7. Serve with whipped cream. |
