1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Cream butter and sugar and add beaten eggs one at a time. 3. Add one cup of flour to mixture. 4. Mix remaining cup of flour with dates and nuts. 5. Add to mixture. 6. Grease and flour a 9x13x2 pan and pour mixture into pan. 7. Bake for 20 minutes. 8. Cut and dip in confectioner's sugar.
