A very old recipe that I found in the Kansas City Star and adapted it. Ingredients:
2 eggs |
3/4 cup splenda sugar substitute |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 cup black walnut, chopped |
1 cup dates, chopped |
cinnamon, for dusting |
Directions:
1. Beat eggs well and add sugar. 2. Stir in flour and baking powder, then add nuts and dates. 3. Place in pan sprayed with cooking spray. 4. Sprinkle with cinnamon. 5. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. 6. Serve with whipped cream. |
