This recipe goes with Brown-and-Wild Rice Pilaf with Date Chutney Ingredients:
1 cup chopped whole pitted dates (about 16 dates) |
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 3 lemons) |
1/4 cup water |
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro |
1 tablespoon chopped seeded jalapeƱo pepper |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor; process until thick and smooth. 2. Note: Chutney will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. |
