High in fiber, and tasty with the addition of pitted dates. Eat your fiber and enjoy it too :) Ingredients:
1 c. bran |
3/4 c. milk |
1 c. flour |
2 1/2 tsp baking powder |
1/2 tsp salt |
1/4 c. each sugar, oil |
1/2 c. each chopped pitted dates, walnuts |
1 egg (or 2 egg whites) |
Directions:
1. Soak the bran in the milk for a little while as you blend the remaining ingredients together. 2. Bake at 375F for 30 minutes. |
