Good after dinner with coffee. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1 cup brown sugar |
7 1/2-ounce pkg. chopped dates |
2 cups rice crispies |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Combine butter, brown sugar and dates in a large saucepan. 2. Cook over low heat until mixture bubbles. 3. Simmer 5 minutes longer and remove from heat. 4. Add remaining ingredients. 5. Shape into golf ball sized balls and roll in powdered sugar. 6. These freeze well. |
