Ingredients:
1 package(s) yeast+ 1 tbs water |
4 cup(s) luke warm water |
4 cup(s) flour |
2 package(s) yeast |
1 cup(s) sourdough starter |
1 cup(s) water |
1/2 cup(s) sugar |
1/2 cup(s) oil |
3 eggs |
2 teaspoon(s) salt |
4 1/2-5 1/2 cup(s) flour |
melted butter |
Directions:
1. Dissolve yeast in 1/3 cup of warm water. Set aside mix-sourdough starter, water, sugar, oil,egg+salt+yeast mixture in big mixing bowl. Add 2 cups flour, mix until combined. Add enough flour until dough pulls away from side of bowl. Cover dough with towel and let rise in warm draft free area until doubled in size. You can make dough ahead of time and let rise at room temperature over night.When dough has doubled, divide dough in half roll half of dough onto floured surface into a rectangle. Shape about 1/2 inch thick. Brush dough with melted butter. Roll dough jelly roll fashion and slice into rolls. Place out side up into muffin tins. Let rise again until ready to bake. 2. Bake at 350 degrees 3. For 13 minutes. 4. Make cinnamon rolls with other half of dough. :) |
