Ingredients:
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking soda |
2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon |
2 1/2 cup(s) flour (white or whole wheat pastry) |
2 teaspoon(s) ginger powder |
1 cup(s) hot water |
1 cup(s) molasses |
1 dash(es) nutmeg |
1/2 cup(s) oil or butter |
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
1/2 cup(s) sugar |
Directions:
1. Mix together the wet ingredients and add the dry ingredients slowly. Use a whisk to avoid lumpiness. Bake in a 9x13 in pan, or two round cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees, for about 25-35 min (until you put in a toothpick and it comes out clean). |
