Dark Chocolate Shortbread |

A beautiful shortbread for those special occasions Ingredients:
1 cup soft butter (no substitutions) |
3/4 cup sugar |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
1 3/4 cups flour |
1/2 cup cocoa |
1 pinch salt |
2 ounces white chocolate, melted |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar and butter. Cream well. 2. Add vanilla. 3. Mix dry ingredients. 4. Add gradually to creamed mixture. 5. Knead well. 6. Shape into two 9 inch logs. 7. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate from one to 24 hours. 8. Preheat overn 350F. 9. Slice into 1/4 inch slices and bake on parchment paper lined cookie sheets for 20 minutes. 10. Drizzle tops with melted white chocolate while still warm. |
