Another of my Great-Grandmother Jean's recipe Ingredients:
2/3 cup butter |
1 cup sugar |
1 egg |
2 tablespoons strong coffee |
1 1/2 teaspoons dark rum |
2 1/2 cups flour |
2 tablespoons flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup finely chopped almonds |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, coffee, and rum. 2. Add flour mixture and almonds. 3. Chill mixture at least one hour, roll out 1/8 inch thick and cut. 4. Bake in ungreased pan at 375 for 12 minutes. |
