From my collection of handwritten recipes 1960's. Ingredients:
12 new potatoes |
salt |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons sugar |
Directions:
1. Boil potatoes in salted water with jackets on. 2. In saucepan, melt butter. Add sugar and cook until carmel stage, stirring frequently. 3. Peel cooked potatoes and add to mixture. 4. Cook until lightly browned. |
