Tart and sweet this bread is best served warm with butter. Not to mention it is quick and easy too!
Ingredients:
1 cup granulated sugar
6 tablespoons butter
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 lemon, rind of
1/8 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together. Put into loaf pan.
2. Bake at 375 degrees F fo.
3. r 1 hour or until done.
4. Drizzle glaze made of juice of 1 lemon and 1/3 cup sugar over hot bread.
