Dana's Mexican Rice

This is a recipe from my friend Dana. It is wonderful.
Ingredients:
2 cups jasmine rice
4 cups chicken broth
2 bouillon cubes (maggi chicken with tomato)
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
Directions:
1. Fry rice in oil with chopped onion until brown, stirring frequently. Dissolve bullion cubes in broth completely. When rice is completely browned, pour 4 cups chicken broth w/bullion and simmer in a covered pan until cooked.
