This is a frequently requested recipe where I work. You see I work in a juvenile detention center as the head cook. This is a apecial dessert that I only make once in a while. It's rich it's sinful but it's oh so good.
Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon milk
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup peanut butter
3 cups powdered sugar
2 -4 tablespoons milk
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup flour, sifted before measuring
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 unsweetened chocolate squares, melted (2 ounces)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans (if you don't like nuts leave them out of this brownie recipe) or 1 cup other nuts (if you don't like nuts leave them out of this brownie recipe)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

3. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. Place butter and sugar in large bowl of electric stand mixer and beat until light in color. Add egg and milk and beat to combine. Put mixer on low speed, gradually add flour, and beat until mixture pulls away from the side of the bowl. Spread dough onto a greased 9x13 baking sheet.

5. Into a bowl or onto wax paper, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
6. In a mixing bowl, beat butter, sugar, and eggs together until light and fluffy. Beat in melted butter and chocolate; stir in flour mixture then fold in the chopped nuts. Spread brownies batter on top of cookie layer bake at 375 for 45 min or until pick comes out clean.

8. In large bowl, combine butter, peanut butter, sugar, salt, vanilla, and 2 tablespoons milk. Mix well, adding more milk as needed to make a fluffy spreadable frosting.After dessert cools frost .
