Dairy Free, Soy Free Protein Shake |

A dairy and soy free alternative to milk shakes which I developed when I was run out of almond milk and rice milk. I used almond butter, but you can use peanut butter or cashew butter as well. The whey protein I use is microfiltrated whey protein which is completely lactose and casein free. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon almond butter, or |
1 tablespoon peanut butter |
1 scoop whey protein powder |
1 tablespoon flax seed, ground |
1 tablespoon flax seed oil |
1/3 banana, frozen |
1 tablespoon blueberries, frozen |
1 cup water |
artificial sweetener, to taste (optional) |
Directions:
1. Put everything in a blender and blend until creamy and fluffy. |
