I got this from Dairy Free Cooking . I haven't tried it yet, but plan on making it tonight for my family, as my daughter is allergic to dairy products. Ingredients:
1/4 cup olive oil |
2 tablespoons flour |
2 1/4 cups soymilk or 2 1/4 cups rice milk |
3 tablespoons thyme |
1 tablespoon italian seasoning |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat oil on low to medium heat in saucepan. 2. Add flour and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly with a whisk until smooth. 3. Continue to stir, add the soy or ricemilk and thyme and italian seasoning and bring to a simmer for about 4 to 5 minutes. 4. Salt and pepper to taste. |
