Nutritious bread for the bread machine Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups water |
2 cups whole wheat flour |
2 2/3 cups bread flour |
3 tablespoons sugar |
2 tablespoons powdered milk |
2 teaspoons salt |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 teaspoons bread machine yeast |
3/4 cup raisins |
1 cup walnuts |
1 tablespoon cinnamon or 1 teaspoon allspice or 1 teaspoon cardamom |
Directions:
1. add items in the order required by your bread machine. set to wheat cycle. For a change, sub dried cherries or cranberries for the raisins or sub pecans or peanuts for the walnuts. |
