My dad's sauce. Light and simple Ingredients:
1/8 cup olive oil |
2 -3 garlic cloves, minced |
1 (28 ounce) can whole canned tomatoes, chopped (place in blender and pulse 3-4 times) |
1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
1/4 teaspoon oregano |
fresh basil leaf |
Directions:
1. Heat olive oil and fry garlic. 2. Add all tomatoes, spices. 3. Simmer one hour. 4. Add fresh basil. 5. Serve. |
