This is a really easy recipe that I stole from my father-in-law and everybody seems to love. Serve with a salad and bun and you're good to go! Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
400 g penne pasta |
15 ounces tomato sauce |
1/2 cup brown sugar (to taste) |
Directions:
1. Fill a large sauce pan about 2/3 full with water and bring to a boil. Add pasta and simmer for about 10 min, or until cooked. Drain. 2. Meanwhile, brown ground beef in frying pan over medium heat until no longer pink. Pour off fat. 3. Transfer cooked beef to the pot with pasta. Add tomato sauce and brown sugar. Stir well and serve. |
