This is my dad's recipe. It lasts a long time in the refrigerator and has all the body of store-bought syrup. 1:1:1:1 proportions, so it's easy to memorize and you can make any amount you want! Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar |
1 cup granulated sugar |
1 cup light corn syrup (karo) |
1 cup water |
1 teaspoon maple flavoring |
Directions:
1. Mix ingredients together in a pyrex or other heat-safe bowl. 2. Microwave until sugar is dissolved. 3. Enjoy! |
