Found this idea of freezing clementine sections to be perfect for substituting the ice used in making a smoothie. This is a simple straight forward smoothie that will remind you of summer afternoons running down the icecream truck. Ingredients:
2 cups frozen oranges |
1 cup milk |
1 cup plain yogurt |
1tsp vanilla extract |
5 teaspoons raw sugar |
Directions:
1. To freeze the oranges, peel and section each and place them in a quart size freezer bag. 2. Put all ingredients in a blender and blend on the highest setting until thoroughly blended. Enjoy! |
