I found this recipe in Web MD. I have not tried this, just posting for safe keeping. Ingredients:
6 eggs |
2/3 cup sugar |
2 cups low-fat milk |
1 dash salt |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
Directions:
1. Whisk together eggs, sugar, and milk in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. 2. Slowly cook custard over low heat until thickened (coating the back of a wooden spoon). 3. Add salt and vanilla. Let cool until warm. |
