Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup(s) all-purpose flour |
1/4 cup(s) sugar |
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt |
2 teaspoon(s) grated lemon rind |
1/2 cup(s) butter |
1 egg (slightly beaten) |
custard filling |
powder sugar |
strawberries (optional) |
Directions:
1. )Mix flour,sugar,salt and lemon rind.2)Cut in butter.3)Add egg and mix well with hands until smooth.4)Line a 9-inch spring form pan with waxed paper.5)Press half the dough evenly in bottom of pan.6)Filip over onto cookie sheet.7)Peel off paper.8)Repeat with remaining dough using a second cookie sheet.9)With dull knife,mark off 10 wedges on one round of dough.10)Don't cut through dough.11)Prick both rounds with fork.12)Bake at 325`f for 15 to 18 min,or until firm.13)Cool slightly.14)Remove to wire racks.15)Put unmarked round of pastry in spring form pan.16)Spread with filling.17)Top with remaining layer.18)Press down wight and cover and chill. |
