An easy side dish full of flavor. Ingredients:
1/2 onion - chopped |
handfull of carrot shreads |
1 c uncooked basmati rice |
1/4 c butter |
1 1/2 c water |
1/4 c golden raisins |
1/2 tsp ground thume |
1tsp curry powder |
1 chicken bullion cube |
Directions:
1. Saute onions with butter, carrots and spices until tender. 2. Add rice, raisins and water. 3. Cover and bake for ~1/2 hour |
