This is a yummy rice I make every Saturday at home. Ingredients:
2 cups rice |
4 cups boiling water |
1 tablespoon oil |
2 tablespoons carrots (thinly sliced) |
1 teaspoon fresh garlic |
1 tablespoon curry |
1 tablespoon salt |
Directions:
1. Warm up the oil in a pot. 2. when warm add the pepper (or carrot) and garlic, wait a second until it's golden. 3. Add the rice, leave for 1 minute. 4. Add the curry to the water, and then put the water in the pot (be careful with the steam). 5. Add salt and leave still until it bubbles up. 6. Leave to boil for 20 minutes, with a lid, do no stir. 7. Serve and enjoy. You can put a portion in a cup, and then turn it over, it makes a nice setting in the plate. |
