Whole-wheat wraps deliver a nutty taste as well as extra fiber and B vitamins. If you want an extra punch of flavor, serve with a side of mango chutney for dipping. Ingredients:
1/4 cup light mayonnaise |
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce |
1 teaspoon curry powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 (12-ounce) can solid white tuna in water, drained and flaked |
2 tablespoons minced red onion |
2 tablespoons raisins |
4 (8-inch) whole-wheat flour tortillas |
2 cups torn green leaf lettuce |
Directions:
1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl, stirring with a spoon. Stir in tuna, onion, and raisins, breaking up any large chunks of tuna with a spoon. 2. Spoon about 1/3 cup tuna mixture down center of each tortilla. Top each with 1/2 cup lettuce; roll up. Wrap in plastic wrap or foil, and chill until serving. 3. Young Chefs can: 4. Tear lettuce leaves 5. Pour tuna in colander or strainer to drain 6. Older Chefs can: 7. Stir together measured ingredients 8. Help spoon tuna on tortillas and assemble wraps |
