Ingredients:
4 sheets frozen pastry dough, thawed |
425 g tuna, drained & flaked |
1 cup cooked rice |
1 cup frozen peas |
1/3 cup spring onion, chopped |
1/2 cup celery, finely chopped |
3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped |
1/2 cup cottage cheese |
2 teaspoons curry powder |
1/2 teaspoon garam masala |
beaten egg, for glaze |
Directions:
1. Using 2 sheets of pastry, line a lightly greased 28cm x 18cm slice tin. 2. Combine remaining ingredients and spoon into pastry-lined tin, pressing down well. 3. Using remaining pastry, cover the filling, trim edges and crimp. Use the pastry scraps to decorate the top. 4. Glaze & cut a vent in pastry top. 5. Bake in a moderate oven for 35 mins or until golden brown. 6. Can be served hot or cold. |
