Curried Sausage Savoury Ingredients:
4 ounces sausage |
1 onion |
2 tablespoons oil |
4 ounces rice |
3 teaspoons curry powder |
salt |
pepper |
1/2 pint chicken stock |
4 ounces mushrooms |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in frying pan and fry sausages and onion until sausages are brown and onion transparent. Add rice, stirring continuously with a wooden spoon, and cook until translucent. Add curry powder (adjust amount to personal taste), season with salt and pepper and add stock. Cover pan and simmer on a low heat for 15 minutes. Add mushrooms and continue to cook until all the liquid is absorbed and rice is soft. Serve with seasonal vegetables. |
