This was so yummy and if you do like curry then you can always add more curry powder or take away. Ingredients:
1/2 cup chopped green onions |
2 garlic gloves minced |
1/4 cup butter, softened |
1 1/2 cups uncooked long grain rice |
1 1/2 cups orzo |
1 1/2 teaspoons curry powder (or adjust to your taste) |
3 cups chicken broth |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cups raisins |
1/2 cup almonds (optional) |
Directions:
1. 1. In a large skillet add the onions, garlic and butter and saute until tender. 2. 2. Then add the rest of the ingredients and place lid and simmer for about 30-40 minutes or until tender and done. Stir frequently if liquid is all absorbed then add some more broth. |
