Curried Potatoes (Sweet or Regular)

A recipe I found in a local newspaper...looks good although I haven't tried it yet.
Ingredients:
4 large potatoes (sweet or regular)
1 onion, chopped
3 tablespoons oil
1/2 tablespoon curry powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 cup cashews (roasted if raw)
1 cup vegetable broth
2/3 cup coconut milk
salt and pepper
2 teaspoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons dry sherry
Directions:
1. Boil potatoes.
2. In a pot, saute onion until translucent.
3. Add all spices to the pot with the onion, stir, then add cashews and potatoes.
4. Stir in broth and coconut milk.
5. Mix cornstarch, and sherry (or broth, juice or water) in a cup. Add a bit of hot broth to the cornstarch mix then stir everything in the pot.
6. Heat through while stirring.
