A good Snack Ingredients:
1 pound pecan halves |
1/4 cup butter |
2 tablespoon vegetable oil |
1 tablespoon packed light brown sugar |
1 tablespoon curry powder(fresh) |
1/2 tablespoon ground ginger (fresh) |
salt |
note:you may add as much as:1/2 cup butter,1/4 cup vegetable oil,2 tablespoons brown sugar,2 tablespoon curry powder,and 1 tablespoon ground ginger |
Directions:
1. Place pecan halves on cookie sheet,toast in 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes or until light brown 2. Do not turn off oven 3. Melt butter in large skillet,add oil,sugar,curry,ginger,salt 4. Blend well,Stir in pecans and toss until well coated 5. Line cookie sheet with several paper towels 6. Place pecand on cookie sheet and place in oven,turn off heat. 7. Leave pecans in turned off oven for about 10 minutes 8. Remove from oven,salt lightly 9. Cool 10. Store in cover container in Ref. |
