My sister gave me this recipe a few years ago...another party hit! Ingredients:
2 cups pecans |
1 1/2 tablespoons butter |
1 teaspoon curry powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Put pecans and butter into a 9 x 9' pan. 2. Heat in 350F degrees oven until butter melts. 3. Stir well to coat nuts. 4. Continue to roast, stirring every 2-3 minutes for about 15 minutes, they can burn if you arent careful! 5. Remove from oven. 6. Transfer to paper towels so grease will be absorbed a bit then put nuts into bowl. 7. Sprinkle with curry powder and salt if desired. 8. Stir to mix thoroughly. |
