Perfect in the morning Ingredients:
440 g whole kernel corn |
2 teaspoons butter |
1/2 teaspoon curry powder |
2 teaspoons flour |
1 pinch salt |
1/2 teaspoon parmesan cheese (optional) |
1 -2 teaspoon fresh herb, chopped (optional) |
4 slices bread |
Directions:
1. drain corn, reserve liquid. 2. melt butter in frypan. 3. add curry powder and flour. 4. cook while constantly stirring for about 20 seconds. 5. pour in corn liquid and bring to boil. 6. cook until sauce thickens. 7. add corn and cook till corn is cooked. 8. stir in parmesan and herbs. 9. serve straight away on un-buttered toast. |
