So easy yet so tasty! Feel free to sub the cauliflower for other vegetables (I love this on broccoli)! You could also make into a casserole by sprinkling shredded cheese and breadcrumbs over top then broiling. It's also a wonderful accompaniment for a quiche or omelet. Ingredients:
1 large cauliflower, cut into florets |
2 tablespoons flour |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 1/4 cups milk |
1/2-1 teaspoon curry |
1 teaspoon salt |
pepper, to taste |
Directions:
1. Steam cauliflower until tender (try not to overcook or else it will break up in the sauce). 2. In the meantime, melt butter with flour in the microwave for approximately 30 seconds. Add milk. Cook another 5-7 minutes until you get a nice, thick sauce, stirring occasionally. Add seasoning. 3. Pour sauce over cauliflower. Serve hot. |
