Curried Broccoli Soup

I think I found this in a Halifax paper many years ago. It is an easy soup and can be served hot or very cold - we prefer the latter with a spoonful of yoghurt on top. Also, a plus being that it is low in fat and calories. Enjoy.
Ingredients:
1 medium bunch broccoli, chopped
1/2 spanish onion, chopped
1 tablespoon butter (preferably unsalted)
1 granny smith apple, peeled and chopped
2 cups chicken broth
1 tablespoon curry (or to taste)
Directions:
1. Peel and stem broccoli discarding 2 inches from bottom.
2. Saute onion with curry until soft but not brown.
3. Add apple and broccoli.
4. Add chicken stock.
5. Bring to boiling point, reduce heat and simmer approximately 20 minutes covered.
6. Puree.
