Ingredients:
3 slices home style bread |
1 cup milk |
1 1/2 lbs beef, ground |
1/2 lb pork, ground |
1 onion, finely chopped |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1 tablespoon curry powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped |
2 eggs, beaten |
pepper, freshly ground |
Directions:
1. Remove crusts from bread; tear in pieces and let soak in milk. 2. Toss 3. together in a large bowl and remaining ingredients. 4. Press lightly into a 9 x5 x3 loaf pan. 5. Cover with foil and bake in preheated 350 F oven about 1 1/2 hours. 6. Drain off pan juices. 7. Slice to serve. If to be served cold, leave loaf overnight in refrigerator. |
