Ingredients:
3 cups frozen curly fries |
4 strips bacon |
1 tbsp mustard |
3 tbsps chopped dill pickle, plus a splash of pickle juice from the pickle jar |
1 1/2 tbsps ketchup |
3 tbsps mayonnaise |
1 1/2 tbsps malt vinegar |
1/4 tsp sugar |
salt and pepper |
1 cup cherry tomatoes cut in half |
1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion |
1 large head of romaine or 2 romaine hearts, washed and torn |
1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Bake french fries according to package. I cook my bacon in the oven but if desired cook in fry pan till crisp.Drain on paper towels. Cool and break into pieces. 2. Whisk together mustard. pickle and juice, ketchup, mayo, vinegar, sugar and 2 tbsps water. Add s/p to taste. 3. Mix all the salad ingredients together in a big bowl toss to combine add dressing and toss again. Serve |
