This came from Playroom magazine. I have not tried this recipe. Posting for safe keeping. Ingredients:
2 ounces unsalted butter, cut into cubes |
3 tablespoons honey |
1 large bar semisweet chocolate |
3 ounces cornflakes cereal or 3 ounces crispy rice cereal |
10 ounces marshmallows |
black writing icing or chocolate sprinkles |
Directions:
1. You will need paper cupcake cups (liners). 2. In a bowl break chocolate into small pieces. Put into a heat-proof mixing bowl and add the honey. Melt the mixture in bowl over a pot of simmering water and stir frequently. 3. Take the mix off the heat and put it on a heat proof surface to cool down a little. Take the cornflakes and pour them into the bowl. Gently stir the mixture with a wooden spoon until the cornflakes are completely covered. 4. Carefully spoon the mixture into the cupcake cups. Place them in the fridge to cool and set for about 2 hours. When the cakes are ready you can decorate them with the marshmallows and icing to make money faces. 5. Turn the marshmallows on their side and cut them in half from top to bottom. Shape 3 pieces of marshmallow to make a monkey face. |
