Using fresh thick sliced cucmbers this recipe may be used as a salad or condiment. it is not meant to be drenced in dressing. Prepared fresh, it is crunchy and refreshing Ingredients:
4 medium garden fresh cucumbers |
mayonnaise |
fresh cream |
dried or fresh chopped dill |
caorse sea salt |
fresh cracked black pepper |
Directions:
1. Cut off ends of cukes 2. leave on skin, cut each in half vertically 3. Scape out seeds 4. Cut each half into thick slices ( they will look like half circles ) 5. Place in bowl with some red or white chopped onion 6. Add some mayonaisee to moisten but not make soggy, such as a heaped 1/4 cup 7. Stir to combine and then add some fesh cream- about another 1/4 cup or less 8. Season with salt, pepper, dried or feesh chopped dill 9. Chill well 10. Crunchy and delcious as a side or salad with any meal 11. Note:if you want it more creamy just add a bit more mayonnaise and or cream in equal amounts |
