Cucumber-Watercress Salad |

If you can't find wasabi paste, mix equal parts wasabi powder and water. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons seasoned rice vinegar |
1 tablespoon dark sesame oil |
1 tablespoon sake |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper |
1 teaspoon wasabi paste |
1 teaspoon minced garlic |
1 english cucumber, sliced |
3 large radishes, cut into matchsticks |
2 cups torn red leaf lettuce |
1 cup torn watercress |
Directions:
1. Whisk together first 8 ingredients in a large bowl; add cucumber and radishes, tossing well. Cover and chill at least 1 hour. Just before serving, toss lettuce and watercress with cucumber mixture. |
