This is handed down to me from my mom. This salad always reminds me of home, and summer. Ingredients:
2 large cucumbers, peeled and chopped |
2 large tomatoes, chopped |
1/2 sweet onion, chopped (vidalias are best) |
1/2 cup prepared italian dressing |
1/2 teaspoon sugar |
Directions:
1. Mix all the vegetables together, then coat with the salad dressing. 2. Lightly stir in the sugar. 3. Refrigerate for at least two hours (but overnight is best). |
