A chef friend of mine gave this to me when I expressed how much I liked the cucumber sauce on the gyros we were eating. Ingredients:
1 large cucumber |
1 cup sour cream |
1 cup mayonnaise |
1 tablespoon parsley |
1 teaspoon sea salt |
Directions:
1. Peel and grate cucumber. 2. Squeeze out excess juice. 3. Place all ingredients in a medium size bowl. 4. Mix well and Cover. 5. Place in refrigerator for a least 1 hour. 6. I usually make this the night before so that all the flavors have a chance to meld. |
