Great Side To Any Meal, Refreshingly Good on a Hot Summer Day Ingredients:
1 box mostaccioli noodles |
2 large cucumbers |
1 bunch green onions |
1 c sugar |
1 c apple cider vinegar |
1/2 c vegetable oil |
2 t dry mustard |
1 tsp garlic powder |
1 t parsley flakes |
Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to directions on box, use cold rinse 2. Peel cucumbers and cut into bite size pieces 3. Chop green onion into pieces, greens and all 4. Take large plastic bowl with lid that seals tight 5. Mix together the remaining ingredients in the large bowl 6. Add cucumber pieces, chopped onion, and cooked pasta 7. Toss all ingredients together 8. Seal lid onto bowl and shake it up to mix all ingredients together 9. Refrigerate Before Serving 10. The trick to this salad is storing it upside down in the refrigerator 11. The flavor stays at the top and mixes back through the pasta when served instead of settling to the bottom of the bowl |
